Are You About Your Father’s Business?

ARE YOU ABOUT YOUR FATHER’S BUSINESS?
by Pam Clark (pamclark@prophetic.net)

Are you aware of the ebbs and flows in the Spiritual battle? They are definitely there. There has been a recent wave of a negative flow and many in the ministry have picked up on their awareness of it and even written about it. When they happen, you know you have to ride it out to some degree.

We learn that we have to do what Moses did when the Egyptians were coming after Israel to put them again under bondage: “Stand still and see the salvation of God!” Now there are two ways of standing still, in the Lord or in a place of shock and fear. Which do you think is better?

The warfare is very real and it does affect the whole globe, but the reality is that Jesus is taking the planet for the Kingdom of God. We just have to learn how to fight, with His rules, in His Army. “I’m just a little sinner for Jesus” won’t get you there.

There is way too much compromise in the Body of Christ and some of that is the result of false teaching. Jesus warned us about last days trouble, but He never expected us to cave in. Some really will give their lives unto the death, and some will die in the Lord, but there is the promise of the resurrection. But being in the Lord is more than going to a voter booth to make a decision. It starts off that way, but much more is required.

Many become afraid of the battle and so they go into a place of denial, often entertaining themselves with the world. But the ways of the world are getting more and more unGodly and will carry an evil price tag attached to it. If you faith has no meaning, do you really think there are benefits to it? Do you think you will get a reward?

Just because you are sitting in a church somewhere does not mean that you are being active or even in the Kingdom of God. You have to have an interactive relationship with Jesus. That involves two personalities, yours and His! His sheep hear His Voice, He says as the Good Shepherd. That means there is conversation and leadership.

If your leaders take you the wrong way, you don’t have to go there. We have had these militaristic type teachings that have gone to extremes of “obeying those in charge of you.” God set up an order for His people but His intentions are good and you should be able to discern that from reading your Bible. God never condones sin. And He is not trying to set you up in a religious order that puts them in higher place of rule in your life in the place of Him.

The Body is really starting to get a revelation of this and it is to our benefit. But we have to learn the Spirit to follow the Spirit. It will teach you to honor those in authority. And it’s not that hard, there is just a warfare over its teaching. The enemy doesn’t want you to know but many have paid a price for you to learn.

America is a great nation that many people admire, including its own citizens. But if the foundations are destroyed, another rule comes in and America is not America anymore. When people give the credit to another place, they will be surprised if not angry that “it doesn’t work that way anymore” and so their anger will rule often over the order. The foundations have then changed.

We need to find God’s defense in our lives and there is a battle to get there, but once the prize is won, we have to maintain it and also teach it to others, because the kingdoms of this world will become and are becoming the Kingdom of the Lord and of His Christ! But if we see evil ruling and reigning, do we bail out or do we seek God’s ways?

Everyone loves comfort and even some luxuries, but that is not the goal of a great Christian life, but a byproduct. Some people preach Jesus like that is the goal, but the reality is that Jesus will teach us how to navigate. Some days are good and some days are difficult but do we have His navigation in our lives or do we succomb and become overtaken, or do we find the path to His victories? We all have rough days.

If luxuries are the goal, we will become corrupt. The focus will turn to the flesh and the flesh is never satisfied. There is a character development going on in all our challenges, but if we don’t have the right understanding, our “vision” can take us somewhere else where we might get disappointed, even severely.

Remember the parable that Jesus taught of the king who made a great feast for his son and people didn’t want to attend because they had other things to do? His servants went out to the highways and byways to invite the more humble people in so the house might be full for the celebration, but even then, some did not want to do it right and had on another garment instead of the wedding garment (honor) and were thus thrown out.

This was a parable for these last days. The world is becoming more and more globally integrated, and that will not decrease but increase. There is no way to put a stop button on it. You can personally hide from it and you may have an assignment to be out of it, but you will still be affected by it, there is no escape from it. These are the last days and you have to learn to navigate them!

There is “a bent” or direction that we all have inside that makes us the unique person we are. Some people want to be different just to be different, but what they really want is attention and that can be good or bad. But God put eternity in our hearts and in that is a way to fulfill His best will for our lives and the whole Body of Christ. He has put interests and talents and spiritual gifts and we have to learn to direct them for the Kingdom of God. But we can’t do that if we don’t even know what the Kingdom of God is!

We may need attention for a little while but we need to learn to get on track for our Kingdom work. Are we about our Father’s business? It is His good pleasure to give us the Kingdom, but it does not come without relationship with Him. And to have that we have to come to know Him and the power of His might, and it really is quite fascinating!

Our ideas are not necessarily His ideas, and even though the world revolves around Him instead of us, we really can find a quality fulfillment. Things become clean and full of growth and accomplishments. Joy is there and peace too. This isn’t a wish like on a Christmas card, but a reality!

We have to remember that Christ means Anointing and the anointing is the power of God imparted to change things for the better. Jesus made the way and we get to follow His way, which is why we call Him “The Way.” He is also the Truth and the Life, as in forever life!

The enemy is resisting life and so we must learn how to overcome that. This is the hard part because he uses fear and God tells us to be strong and courageous. And we can be when we know the Truth! Then when crazy things happen, we will know what to do – or know to stand still and truly see the salvation of God in our lives.

The enemy always wants to take advantage of our teachings with false teachers. He will even try to use our believer words against us like He did with Jesus (Mark 4). He will use “turn the other cheek” to bully us into what he wants. He will say we have to be nice and comply, but even if it is sin and God does not teach that! He will say that God will do all the work and we don’t have to do anything, but all that is lies! There is an interactive relationship that brings forth the Kingdom of God. To teach otherwise denies the Bible.

God is not a terrorist but He obviously expects us to learn how to deal with them. If a vicious dog comes to your house to harm you or your animals or belongings, you don’t put a bowl of food out and try to pet him. You will get hurt! Jesus said we have to bind the strongman first. In the spirit world, some spirits will not change, we need to understand that. But we can learn what will change and work to establish His Kingdom. It takes discernment and we learn that and teach it to others by being about our Father’s business.

God’s Body Parts

GOD’S BODY PARTS
by Pam Clark (pamclark@prophetic.net)

“Redemption does not come so easily, for no one can ever pay enough to live forever and never see the grave.” Psalm 49:8 [New Living Translation]

Have you ever played games with someone who had to win, and if they didn’t win, they were extremely upset? When you see that side of their personality, it can be a spooky thing, depending on how far that passion goes!

We know there is a healthy competitive spirit that challenges us to do our best. Most parents when they play games with their small children will let their children win to give them that feeling of accomplishment. Even teaching them how to lose through your example can be an important lesson for good mental and emotional health.

But a parent who would intimidate their child and overwhelm them in an unfair competition does a great disservice not only to that child but to all society. They breed bullies who defy the riches of our world. We need to understand what is the most important thing in life.

Death is cruel many times. In the hands of the enemy it is a weapon against us. I love these words of Jesus where He says, “The thief’s (or the enemy’s) purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.” [John 10:10 NLT]

Death in the hands of the Lord is a transition to a better place if that person is open to the Lord. Most innocent children are, but there is what is called “the age of accountability” – which can be different for different ones – where they are measured with the measures of life. And a lot of that measure is hearing internally the movings, if not the words, of the Holy Spirit inside of them.

The Lord wants to take those movings into words, and those words into a lifestyle, and that lifestyle into a relationship that is like a marriage with Him forever. But most people know even the best of marriages have their tribulations because the people have individual minds and wills. When they learn how to blend them, it can become joyful, but it requires some efforts.

While the power of the enemy is there to destroy things, the power of God is there to make things work and grow. But if we don’t tap into the power of God, we can miss the better portions.

If we become so fascinated with the changes of evil and destruction, we can miss the greater glories of the good. When evil is “exciting” and good is mediocre, many will gravitate towards the stimulation. But it’s better to be true than false, and there is no reason why we have to settle for anything less than the great and extraordinary. We just have to press into it.

I had a vision this morning of the Body of Christ like a car going down the road and it got a flat tire. The people got out, changed the tire and kept on going, but they failed to fix the spare tire. Later another flat was to occur, and they were stuck there, and had to not only live at that place but defend themselves as well. It was not the most ideal set of circumstances.

This society in many ways tends to have this all or nothing mentality. We find our “stars” or “leaders” and we decide competitively that this is the way to go. Then sometimes when they do let us down, we can be notorious for just dumping these people on the side of the road like discarded trash. But while they are players, we use them as weapons against what we perceive to be our enemy of rejection. Because everyone wants to be “cool” you know, and so whatever is “cool” at the current time is what we need and we will trash the rest. You know what I am talking about.

While it is fun to glory in the new, at the root of some of this is the spirit of rejection and if we do not reject rejection and its associated demons of death, we will fall for a deception that eventually hurts us, because the redemption of our souls is costly and precious, and we really do want to live forever. But for that to happen we really do have to pass the judgment test of God of relationship. And try as we might to avoid facing that issue, most of us do not get out of this world alive.

There is something in the human soul that knows how to place a value on things and people. Most children begin life by falling in love with their parents and caregivers. Most babies start off quite happy and they are so endearing to us, but babies grow up and they are required to take on responsibilities, even with of all their different personalities and ultimate skills or talents that become revealed.

The Body of Christ, or the Church, is going through a lot of transition right now. This is the day where not only is knowledge and travel greatly increased (Daniel 12:4), but the population globally is growing exponentially as well. There will be an anti-Christ (or anti-power of Life) spirit that tries to control it all, but those oppressions will fail by the power of the Living God. But we must learn to connect to that Spirit of Life and Power and learn how to overcome.

We are living in the conflict of these forces today and these exponential growths in society are things our individual lives will have to deal with. We must be on a quest for truth and it is good to pray for “the spirit of truth” in our lives. The Spirit of Truth will reveal to us the things that make for Life. Many of us have this temptation to have the “all or nothing” view that something or someone is absolute when truthfully, they may not be. They change, they fail, they die.

Jesus is an anchor because He is a God-Man who rose from the dead after a cruel brutal death and revealed Himself. He said He was God’s Son and has proved it in many ways. If you don’t know Him, you can ask Him to reveal Himself to you and come into your life. A process will begin that will do just that, because He is real. God is a Spirit, Jesus said, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

When we have been taught the basics of life and it works for a good season, sometimes we think the next thing we encounter will be good as well, but it doesn’t always work out like that. This earthly life can have some negative encounters, sad to say. We must learn to separate the precious from the vile, or the good from the evil. And it is something we can learn to do, especially with the help of the Scriptures – the Holy Bible. The Bible is nice because the print doesn’t change on the page like our views and opinions will.

We are that car going down the road as a people. And sometimes we can get a flat tire. That tire may be ours or it may be someone else’s but as a Body we still need it. We may do fine for a while without repairing the tire, but we must believe in ourselves and others enough to realize all our parts are not just wanted but really are needed. We can’t just take things for granted.

Revolutions are occuring all around the world today. Like the churning oceans are the peoples of the nations, seeking their expressions, and they don’t always know how to do it, but something inside is telling them that there is more and they are seeking it. And they don’t always play by the rules we think they should! Wars and rumors of wars are constantly in the news. It is a time to be aware and finely tuned. The chances are good that we can encounter some things we did not expect.

Finding a stocked bunker to hide in until the mayhem is over is not truly functional. It may be a temptation, but being blissfully unaware for a season is not going to deal with or overcome the problems this coming society is going to face. Because not only are you going to have to deal with whatever man comes up with, but also God. He has expectations from you!

As we travel and travail down this highway of life, we are going to need our supplies and our tools, and in the journey of life, that comes through people. There are forces that may be out of our control but they are not out of God’s control, and as we learn to connect with Him, we can get a handle on what we need and our instructions on how to do it. God’s people will have a good will for man in mind, and they will not compromise. The Body of Christ is a real living organism.

The Spirit of God is a Life-giving Source and He does have a Plan. We need His Life and Godliness for this Great Marriage of Eternal Life. Tokens are good, but function is better. Don’t be afraid to engage in a good life through Him. You will not be disappointed. Strife and destruction in the Body is self defeating. You don’t want to be stranded needing a part.

The Importance of Confidence

The King James Version reads:

(Hebrews 10:35 ) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great
recompense of reward.

The word “recompense” there means “a reward, as in wages.”

The New International Version reads:

(Hebrews 10:35) So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly
rewarded.

Most people who read ministry articles like mine, usually have a ministry at
work within them and this is the way it should be. Once the Word of God
becomes activated in a person, a desire to minister also comes up. It can
manifest in a number of different ways, but there is a life giving spring
(called the anointing) that has a force that wants to come up and out of
God’s Christian believers in expressions.

We know that is the power of the Holy Spirit. But some feel like they are to
squash it for the sake of the religious organization they may be around and
some feel they have to “fight” the organization to let it come out, and some
are in organizations that actually help them launch into their ministries.
If one is exceptionally blessed, there are those who encourage them to find
a way to do their ministry.

All of this is so important for Christian ministry fulfillment – personally
and practically. On some causes, there are still not enough volunteers, do
you know what I mean? I want to speak to anyone who has any kind of a
ministry, no matter how small or large it seems to be to them.

The five fold ministry is to equip others for the work of the ministry, and
that really comes out of learning how to do it and then just passing it on
to others. The older (or more mature ones) have to teach the younger (less
mature) in their giftings. It’s just how it works in every area of life.

We really don’t need exalted positions because you may be good at something
I am not and at the same time, vice versa! I may have a ministry meeting
somewhere, but I might need a mechanic to help me get to that meeting! We
all need respect, what ever our gift and calling is.

And it is true that we will not find true happiness and fulfillment until we
DO the calling that God has for us to do. It does not mean we will enjoy
every day of it because a lot of ministry is a SACRIFICE for Love. But there
will be a God pleasured satisfaction in serving Him and knowing it.

So I want to speak to ministers of any kind and encourage them to impart
confidence to others. And sometimes it might even get to someone’s head
temporarily, but God will pick them up from their fall to pride as they seek
Him. So really, not only do we need to impart confidence, but we also need
to do it the right way!

Everyone benefits from encouragement and some are more gifted at imparting
it than others, but it really is not something that is all that challenging
to do. It is AMAZING at what even a little bit of encouragement can do for a
person! Even if they are highly skeptical at first.

And some are skeptical because they have been burned in the past by people
taking advantage of them, or they have been approached by “salesmen” making
grand promises of an impractical non-reality. Disappointments can cause
people to walk with a limp and Jesus came to heal the lame – in whatever
capacity that is!

God exhorts us to have faith and even says that is what pleases Him, but for
some it is hard to have faith in some areas. The littlest things can make
the biggest difference and you may have a powerful ministry and not even
know it! Just by doing the little things that you do, being you!!!

God does not have to please our moods all the time, but He will work with
those who honestly want to work with Him. He is always looking for laborers
in the Harvest field and even tells us that we need to pray to the Lord of
the Harvest (Him) for the laborers, which is you and me.

Think about it like this. Every town needs a doctor for situations that come
up, but what if all the doctors were only in one place and not spread
around? As you know, we have to travel sometimes as it is to get the help we
need that way. But God needs ministers for the people who pray to Him the
same way! How many in these different areas of life are crying out and have
no sufficient answers? But the knowledge and resources for them are in the
earth, but are just not fully available in every area!

And when you think about it, the more needy a location is, there are
probably less resources. God needs qualified Christians to answer their
prayers. We have to realize that God truly does have need of us, and we just
need to connect to our callings! It may be a full time missions work or it
may be a ministry to someone that you meet out in the marketplace somewhere.
We need to be on “on.”

But to be on “on,” we need to be equipped. That is what the Church and
Christian ministries and conferences and schools are all about! We need the
head knowledge and we need the Spiritual experience knowledge with that
proper interpretation, and we need confidence in what we do.

Faithfulness has a lot of power, even when we are not “feeling it.”
Faithfulness encourages in a mighty way. I think all of us know how
important inner security is to just living life. That confidence that things
will work and be there means as much to us as the sun coming up every
morning for a new day.

Not only do we need confidence in the things around us, but we also need
confidence in ourselves. It may come more natural to some, but to some
others, it can literally mean the difference between life and death. God is
good and after creating us, He declared it was very good! But we also find
there is an enemy who wants to take away our confidence in the goodnesses of
God within and about us.

As ministers we need to realize that when we impart Spiritually, we need to
pass on confidence. It really generates a lot of love and it really builds
the Kingdom of God and the people in it. Not only does it do a good work but
that good work also will come back to us in due season. Like any seed, you
have to plant it, and water it and tend it, but there is great reward, the
Scriptures say, for this one.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of
reward. Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. Be a
blessing and get blessed!

Be Properly Equipped

The Church is only as good as the people in it – even globally. So we need to be practical as well as Spiritual.  Many think God is going to do a “poof” transformation for good and while He will give us a taste of what we can walk into, He still expects our spirit man to mature in it.

God will give us wisdom, and advances because of agreement, but if we do not have – as a Body of individuals – a foundation that will hold through stress – we will not hold our position or keep on advancing significantly – until we do have that.

We can look for a leader, we can look for a meeting, we can look for a “Revival” even, and the good ones will be there, but God provided Jesus, not man to be your constant Source. Men will disappear and some men (or women) will fail in your eyes. But the Spirit of God does not change, so are you equipped???

We are the wax of a candle, Jesus is the wick, and the Father through the Holy Spirit lights the fire. Some of us will be burned up in our ascension to Him, used up to His Glory. But we will not be lost! Let’s ask, what is the fragrance of our wax? But remember that some light is better than none! It is the light that dispels the darkness.

Do you appreciate structure? Without it, without respect for it, there is no sustaining strength. God is building a GLOBAL group and He knows the “rubix cube formula” so to speak for all the needs to be met and for all the Glory to be seen. And there is sufficient available to all of us, if we learn how to access it.

If God allows a revival, but there is no equipping for the new or delivered, it will wane fast and just be talked about meetings of the past. ALL revival is borne of prayer. You may have a charismatic leader, but he or she did not get there except through prayer. The equipped cannot function without the fuel of prayers.

God answers the prayers of hearts, not the wishes of the mind. You can have a great building, a great speaker or three, or even more, great advertising, even a great media ministry, but if the anointing is not there, then you are just a good idea. I used to want someone else to pray for me – and we all need prayers – but if I don’t pray, then I don’t have the enabling encounters.

Some even pay others to pray but you know, the chances for mess ups are stronger I believe. The anointing comes through encounters with God. You have to experience His Presence and learn how to call on Him in the day of trouble with His Word. Head knowledge and human experience is not the same thing as Spiritual knowledge and personal encounters with His Presence.

All things DO work together for the good of those who are the called (Romans 8:28), but you can’t have one without the other – if you want to have a real move, that is. You can hold your own and maintain for a season, but if there is not Spiritual HUNGER, then there will not be Spiritual encounters. You will only get indoctrinations without them, and if they are false, they are targets for truth by The Truth!

If you don’t know the Bible definitions of quality life, you won’t build accurately. You won’t know what to defend or what to let go of. If you do not have vision beyond where you are and where your natural mind is, then there is no prophetic revelation with you. And we need to discern these visions!

God wants us to be natural AND Spiritual. People who miss that, are probably up to something! Just saying  “Be warmed and filled” and even trained are nothing without substance. God wants wholeness – spirit, soul and body! And He is good for it!  But if we don’t understand that or know how to apprehend it and if your gift is not contributing and working with other gifts, then we are ALL missing out.

We have to do our part and respect others. It’s a BIG creation that God wants us to be a part of. If the Church doesn’t think as big as the world does, they will continue to mock us.

A drunk man lost his wallet one night and was looking for it under a street lamp. A cop came up and asked him what was going on. He said he lost it down the street but he was looking under the street lamp because there was more light there. How much is the Body like that?

Sometimes we have to take care of the “little things” before we can take on the big! Wisdom is knowing how to apply your attention and your focus to make these advances. It is God’s good pleasure to give us His Kingdom, but we must apply ourselves through personal prayers and application.

The 9-9-11 Dream

I just had a dream that I think pertains to the “big picture” so to speak.  I don’t feel alarm from this dream, more that it was the Lord showing me what was going on.

I was in a familiar old small town I used to live in – the kind where everyone knows everyone almost – and there was this long time community cafe downtown where all the local business folk would go, just like in a typical town, with the big glass windows.  The downstairs was the cafe and there were 2 stories on top of that.

I was with someone whom I feel represented the Holy Spirit as a friend, and as I walked by this old cafe building with some business offices on one side of it, I saw that the building was getting ready for demolition.  There was was a hill behind it and I asked if they were going to remove that too and they said “yes, to make it a level playing field.”

I looked at the building and saw that it was very dark brown, and made of wood and stones mixed together with mortar, and it was wearing out (the wood was rotting) and getting old and needed to be replaced.  I also saw that the top story of the building had been cut all the way around and it was turned a little bit, like it was about to be removed.  (I felt in the interpretation the Lord saying He was starting at the top of man’s structure.)

There was this big crane with a wrecking ball and it was getting positioned to come whack the building but as it lowered the ball, it hit this black lady walking down the street.  My Holy Spirit friend and I rushed over to her but she was going to be okay and we got her into a wheelchair to take her home.  (I felt like she was part of the new thing, representing something different, since so many of us here are white with the “white” mindset.  It’s just our demographics.  When I lived in Houston, we were very mixed.)

I fussed at the people in the office for not being more careful and I feel like now that this is the Lord telling me that revival will not be without incidents.  We took the lady on to her home nearby on 17th Street, which was by a university and their offices, and in the lobby of her apartment building, people brought out clothes for me, my Holy Spirit friend, and to the black lady as gifts, and we were told it was because they loved her.  My understanding is that 17 stands for Victory.  I feel the nearby school implies needed institution instructions (foundational teaching).

I feel this dream is telling me that change is coming and the old man-made (social) structures will be taken down and a new structure is coming with a level playing field.  The new and different to many of us will seem to get injured but really will be okay.  God will clothe us and we will be okay, even if we are restless and unsure.  He is starting at the top but those who rest in the Lord will be a part of the new thing.  (Part of the clothing I received was a new red and white pajama gown, which could symbolize rest.)

I feel the Church Body is only as good as the people in it.  We need to hear the Lord for what the people really need, be it instruction, clothing, and activities, helps, etc.  We need to use caution and wisdom, and not give up when we miss it.

God is not disappointed but He will do what He has to do for our best good.

I always want us to remember Israel because I feel that those who bless her will prosper in the Lord, Spiritually and in the physical realm.  I feel that if we bless her Land, our land will be blessed, and that we need to do practical things as the Lord leads us for that Land to prosper.

I feel that as a Church if we don’t, we only delay our blessings.  That is why I believe that a tithe of our tithe should go to Her.  I think it will preserve us in the difficult and challenging times and that it speaks to God prophetically that we believe Him and His Word is true.  For God, I feel this is affection to Him.

The cafe in the dream is the church community and the “offices” (office gifts) are on the side of it (paraclete).  It’s the place of “the mindset” that affects the whole community.  Leaders have to see what is going on with the people and help them Spiritually and practically, because the Church is only as good as its people in it.

And even now as I ponder this, I wonder if this represents our national government, with the two branches as “covering over us” (the top two stories) and the “hill” behind.

I hope there is something in this that blesses and ministers.

In His Shalom Peace,Blessings and Love,

Pam

Right after this dream, a friend of mine (who happens to be a black lady) sent me this article which I have posted here:  http://www.prophetic.net/Isaiah911.pdf and then another friend sent me a link to a Sid Roth show that is also covering the same thing!

Prophetic Word through Pam Clark 7-26-11

There are things in the Church that God is changing. Much of the old church system is being torn down. People are leaning on “the structure” more than the Lord.

This is a revolutionary time. What worked in past ministry is not going to work right now. Filters have been created that have skewed the View. Faith will not be through people as much as it will be through prayer.

God wants us to “get real” and stretch and lean on HIS Creativity. Hearts are being tested as never before. The test is not about “us” but is about Him. Do we really perceive Him the way HE wants us to perceive Him? The enemy has been seeking to hijack and short circuit many things to confuse and render impotent the true powers and Plan of God, but he will not succeed.

God is stripping many to make them call upon His Power, His ways, and His Life. It is really His offering of Love and Anointing to us.

Some people are going through financial battles, some people are going through physical battles or even family and reputation battles.

We cry, “Where are you God?” and He says “I am within you.” Too many are looking for power in a social context. The power within will manifest without.

People are looking for the outward signs and God is correcting that. This stripping is a blessing. Here you will find that His Kingdom holds, and it delivers.

It delivers The Promise!

Here you will find people who really do (or really don’t) believe as you do. Here the scourge of opinions will singe your heart and soul. But you will find that God still remains.

Is God doing this to hurt you? No, He is doing this to help you. He is doing this to reach you.

God is preparing us for Visitation. He is looking for a people to manifest through, and He wants the manifestation as real as our cries are to Him for it to be Real.

Our desperation moves His Heart. He wants to meet us but He cannot compromise who He is.  His Order establishes the Heaven and the Earth.  We are firm and secure in Him.

When all that can be shaken is shaken, we will still remain…  Because our lives are kept in Him, because we have chosen that.

It is Betrothal!  Let the Romance begin!

When the Beloved calls out to her Bridegroom and He responds, it will be pure faith. Not hyped up, not pumped up, not gimmicked up, or even slicked up.

Oh what a wonder to behold this Bride of His. She mystifies the world with this supernatural Relationship where all of earth and creation responds to her.

God wants to bring Heaven to Earth.  He will bring Heaven to Earth!  It belongs to Him!

He will claim and reclaim what is and has been His all along.

We limp and think things are okay. We have fallen so short. But He will restore, restore, restore!

And all creation will praise Him for the wonderful God that He is.

GOD says Call For The Women!

Understand the atmosphere of the context of this…   See the conditions that were going on in Israel that God and the prophet Jeremiah were dealing with.  The prophet was interceding passionately in a backslidden era. He was seeking the heart of God to find remedy…

Jeremiah 9:

15 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I will feed them, this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

16 “I will scatter them also among the Gentiles [nations], whom neither they nor their fathers have known. And I will send a sword after them until I have consumed them.”

17 Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider and call for the mourning women, That they may come; And send for skillful wailing women, That they may come.

18 Let them make haste And take up a wailing for us, That our eyes may run with tears, And our eyelids gush with water.

19 For a voice of wailing is heard from Zion: ‘How we are plundered! We are greatly ashamed, Because we have forsaken the land, Because we have been cast out of our dwellings.'”

20 Yet hear the word of the Lord, O women, And let your ear receive the word of His mouth; Teach your daughters wailing, And everyone her neighbor a lamentation.

21 For death has come through our windows, Has entered our palaces, To kill off the children; no longer to be outside! And the young men; no longer on the streets!

22 Speak, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Even the carcasses of men shall fall as refuse on the open field, Like cuttings after the harvester, And no one shall gather them.'”

23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;

24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

25 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised;

26 “Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.”

God was responding to a man who was crying to Him over the conditions of the land. War was going on, the land was plundered. Hearts had turned away from the Lord.

Children were dying and the nation’s strength of the young men was dissipating. He was standing “between the porch and the altar” (the place of intercession in God’s courts) crying out.

God was angry because people had turned away from Him, so judgment was coming now for the believer and unbeliever alike. But God has mercy and God has answers because God has a Plan. And God will speak.

With all that deterioration and hopelessness, the prophet cried out in tears. And what did God answer?

Call for the women. If you read the whole passage there, the women were also under attacks and suffering. It was not like they were the stronger of the two at that point.

This was God’s answer and this was part of God’s Plan. Call for the women and give respect to the women. Was there another option? Not here, there wasn’t.

Women are not better than men, nor are men better than women. This was not God’s statement of “Women rule.” In fact we know that God names men as the head of their families. But I believe there comes a time when God thinks we have missed it and when we ask Him for help, He will respond with what HE wants.

The Lord has always wanted balance and respect for all His people. He never denied anyone from any nation who wanted to join the Company of believers if they were really believers. Women don’t have any special graces or charms that touch God more than men do. God wants respect for His grand Creation, in the manner and order that He designed it.

I think it is very interesting at this time in America that the news is full of the story about our country’s loans defaulting having the potential to dramatically the wreck the country even more, and the LDS trial of Warren Jeff facing child/girl/women abuse charges. I think there is something to it. (I have preached this Jeremian 9 message years before, so this did not just come to me.)

God wants honor for the men as well as the women. He wants them to have their respect. This is not about ego, but dignity. But I am making a point beyond that, too. When you look at the Church, the Body of Christ believers, who are crying out long and hard for revival and revolution in our lives, you will start to notice something – the women pray-ers.

The women intercessors are rising up. They are gaining a Godly recognition for their roles in seeking God. This is a sign that revival is coming! God has a fashion and order in the way He does things. We are not self designers in this call on our lives to live before Him and then receive His blessings. There is an order and a plan! And our fullfillments will be found in that.

As God is preparing us for a Visitation, you will find more and more anointing on the prayer groups of the women interceding. They will not be just women only, because God is no respector of persons. Men who are sensitive are not despised by God. He is not blessing hanky-panky (wrong actions) by either gender, but He will address the issues of what means something to Him and the way He wants to see things done.

We have much today going on in the way of social engineering, attempting to reorder the ways of God and it is just not going to work. He can shut it down. He has done it before and He can do it again – dramatically. He will let things go way beyond what most decent people think He will. But that does not mean He is not going to act. His ways are higher and grander than our ways are.

When He talks about us entering into His Life and Blessings, and what it takes, He is sincere. The reality that He is even willing to communicate with us on any level is mind blowing. But He knows what He is looking for. And He gave Scriptures to assist us.

Christians who have been around prayers know that they can change things. Prayers have the potential to do amazing things, but they are not “our” design tools. We are not the Designers. We are co-laborers with a great work in redeeming the earth.

God knows what He wants and He wants both men and women and children respected in the right spirit. We do need to search that out and we do need to follow His order, not in legalisms but in honoring the Life that He has designed.

Look for those weeping, wailing women intercessors and join them and bless them. According to God’s Word, it is going to make the difference.

Reject Rejection!

In the Garden, Adam and Eve were blessed;  they felt loved and accepted and covered and provided for.  It’s our “Heaven” place.

But THEN the “spirit of rejection” came in.

That spirit boasted of its power and understanding.  It challenged God.

Adam and Eve doubted, and they fell.

If we can identify in our minds and hearts, what this spirit is –  and it is pride and anti-Christ (which means anti-Anointing) –  and if we can work NOT to  identify with it, we will get set free.

This spirit wants us to identify with it.  Then it will hold contests.  It will say “I will reject you before you reject me!  That makes me greater!”

It will boast of great power.  It will boast status.   But it’s the devil.

It’s a lie, because God is NOT rejecting us.

God sent Jesus to show us He cares, and He honors us to give us the right and privilege of choosing Him.  He gives us free will.

We can and must choose Him if we want His benefits eternally.

 So reject rejection!

When bad things happen, this evil spirit will come and present its offering.

It will act like it is God. But IT IS NOT.

 Receive the Love of God.

Who Gets The Glory?

God has set an order for man that we are still struggling to get right, even from the Fall of Man. In all honesty, we must realize that we cannot do or be anything within ourselves alone. We are created beings, as are all the cosmos, by a Divine Hand and Spirit greater than we ourselves are.

When Jesus came, He not only brought a Divine Example for us, He also revealed the incredible Grace of God by laying down His Life for us, paying the price that we might know our sins can be forgiven through faith in Him. Many signs and wonders accompanied this revelation to us.

Not only was Love revealed through His Life but Power also was. Not only was the portal of Compassion brought to us through what Jesus did, but what He did also made the way for the working of the Gifts of Potency and Enablement in our lives in many forms, through the Holy Spirit. No longer were we waiting for a Messiah to come and rescue us, we were brought into a greater relationship of Family co-laboring in a Work together with Him. This is a high honor!

No longer was it just “the few” who had the words of Life, but now through Him, we all could be the kings and priests that related to Him in many levels. Just as a child must be nurtured to a place where it can stand on its own, so must we be raised up to walking and even running in our strengths in God.

The Divine Nature of the God Personality interacting with the human one is indeed an incredible mystery and phenomenon. It has many layers and dimensions. There is no question that God is Sovereign. One can look at Nature and determine that our reasoning alone is not what rules the planet, but yet we co-labor.

Even more obvious is that we make many mistakes, therefore the Divine Corrector is greatly needed! In our child-like mentality, we need to be teachable. But we must go beyond “knowing” into “living and doing.” One might call that a “living understanding.” A true Living Understanding understands the goals of Life and its Proper Order.

The Goals of Life are Divine Relationship in Unity and Purity. A river may flow in one direction toward the sea but some create tributaries that branch off and never reach it. So much of our rain depends on the water evaporation at the sea, that is then filtered through the clouds and directed by the winds to their appropriate places. While we may find interest in exceptions to the order, in truth, there is really an order in that.

Even as Scriptures say, some things were done “out” of order that we might notice and observe and learn from that. When Moses saw a bush that caught fire and was not consumed, he noticed something “out of order” with that. But in that was a revelation from a greater God than nature. Thus began an entreaty for God to work with Mankind as a group.

When God speaks or acts, He really wants us to give Him the Glory for it. There are many obvious reasons for this! And the biggest one is the human limitations that we humans have. While different abilities, acquired legitimately or illegitimately, can impress other people, when the focus is on Something or Some One greater than we are, we are still able to maintain a teachable spirit and release (let go of) the destructive warrior one.

While God knows how to enforce His Order and Will, and will even call on us to do likewise in certain situations, He really did not design us solely for war and self anihilation. War is only truly meant meant for Order!

With the foundation of compassion and humility, God invites us into power. With that He gives us the Spiritual gifts, and some are pretty impressive! So often we rally around these demonstrations and stories of the Spiritual Gifts because we want to learn and grow from them. But the day we start giving man the glory instead of giving God the glory, we begin a descent of firm correction to Divine Order.

Simon the Magician had learned how to use “natural” powers to impress the people. But when he encountered the demonstrative revelations of the Holy Spirit, his spirit quickly submitted. He saw the disciples laying hands on people and then wrongly discerned a different power at work and he wanted to purchase that technique. He was strongly rebuked for it and learned that his very salvation was threatened by his wrong discernment.

Simon had wanted the glory. He knew if he could “impress” others with his “powers” and “abilities” that he could sway people’s minds and hearts towards his will. But, a Greater Power was present that day, and it firmly corrected him!

Today we have many gatherings around the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Some are “to learn” and some are “to see” and some are “to experience,” but in too many of them we have the human honored more than the Lord. When that happens, we incur a Divine Wrath, that in all reality we probably would prefer to avoid.

Even if man’s ways seem to be presented, if they are really God’s ways, we have stolen “the glory.” When our spiritual direction becomes “led” by men and not from God, both man and leader could be set up for trouble. When men (or women) become “the way,” they can be cut off from the promised blessing as Moses was when he struck the rock rather than speaking to it, and said “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” (Numbers 20:10) In this Moses stole the glory.

Moses had nothing to do with the water coming from the rock. God wanted to use Moses to reveal Himself. When Moses in his flesh altered the revelation of God, it cost him. God still provided for the people but there was a setback that went down in history and could have cost much time. It is very important to our spiritual walk that we repent for these things!

You can be sure that the Body is going no further than its pride. The flesh of man is often tempted to do it wrong and “own” the power, but the mature ones lead by example. If we are “demonstration” only, we can miss the vital communications that come offering greater life. But if we persist in having or stealing the glory for ourselves, we set ourselves at war with God and we will surely lose, and probably also damage those around us.

We have many wonderful leaders today and some that bring controversy. Some controversy is meant so that attention will be brought to the lesson or revelation God is trying to impart to us. But we obviously want to grow in grace on these things rather than setting ourselves at odds with God.

Just because we don’t “see” Him does not mean that His Spirit is not at work in our midst. He very much wants to show us the greater things and we do learn from the past, but we must honor Him over man and man’s words and ways. This is a healthy “fear of the Lord” that is more about respect than “the spirit of fear.” Cowardice is condemned, but so also is presumption. No wonder His grief over the idols of men, especially when they had no breath!

PRAYER:

Lord, we ask for your grace and mercy and for a teachable spirit that can learn how to impart your signs and wonders for our growth and for Your Name’s Sake, and for the love and compassions to give to others that so need it. Help us to come into Your Divine Order that we may not only represent You well and properly, but that we might also live in your awesome holy life too. Forgive us for where we have missed it and help us to hear clearly and correctly in Your Spirit. Give us the ability to repent properly and glorify Your Name. For this we thank You. Amen.

Show Me The Glory

The other day when I was contending for some things in my own life, I heard myself say, much like in the movie Jerry McGuire’s client did, “SHOW ME THE GLORY!”

In the movie Jerry McGuire was an agent and his client was a struggling football player who was not going to take less than a lot.  Really, I thought I was going to say it like the movie does, “Show me the money!”, but instead what came out was, “Show me the Glory!”   I knew that was a “God message thing.”  Smile….

God is going to deal with the hearts of His Beloved People on money this year.  We have seen a lot of excesses and we have seen a lot done wrong and some are just working to “make it work.”  But we need to learn it and do it God’s way.  He has a Plan and He is well able;  we just need to learn how He wants it done.

I have a word for all my good minister friends and for all those who love God enough to give towards His Work.  Don’t take up offerings to “pay expenses.”  It sounds like YOU are supporting God!  We have come into a place of presumption that we have not even realized needs to be corrected.

Instead, take up offerings to push back the kingdom of darkness and bring forth the Light.  Put yourself in agreement with HIM!  Not with men and their works.  When you sow your faith like that, you please God.   Get your excitement up in the real thing!  Then the expenses will be met.  Then EVERYONE will feel and share in the investment into the Kingdom of GOD!  Not only that, a divine power comes upon that giving that makes it holy and anointed and God will deal with those who touch it.

True ministers need to learn how to channel this Godly energy. (Selah!)  This means it will require a lot of prayer and humility.  You learn it from God and not from business school, although there are good helps in business school.  The two should join righteously.  But the ministry of the anointing is different.  This will bring forth the “Divine Push” that WE Christians really need.

God is fine, and will be fine and has been fine. He is not in crisis.  We are the ones who need the Life connect.  Join to gain it!  This is a very serious concept.  Remember Uzzah who tried to “help” God?  He died.  But when we get in proper order and protocol, and everyone in their place of effectiveness and service (with grace and hopes for more!), we get it right and move forward into the Blessing.

When you give, give to what you WANT to SEE, what you KNOW and discern is real Kingdom.   Many have lost heart because of what they have not wanted to see, so they quit giving because it seemed so in vain!  The “promises” and the “giving and sowing” seemed so far apart and growing farther still!  The Church felt and seemed less and less potent, but those who know the God of the past just knew He had not changed.

Even I had to be corrected on this.  I just got sad and unhappy with a lot of things.  It seemed so de-personalized from me and I felt I was worshipping men and programs in the name of God.  It didn’t “feel” right!

But God is asking, “Will you join ME in seeing the Kingdom come?”   I mean, I had been praying “Thy Kingdom come.”  He asked me what kind of world/kingdom did I want to SEE.  And He said “Give to THAT.”

I felt so strongly that many of the churches and movements were missing it in critical ways because of the world’s mocking and the feeling of indifference to so many real needs.  So many were falling away.  I had even prophesied that God was tearing down this old church order because it was just not working like it should.

But we ARE commanded to assemble ourselves together and for many it was becoming the “house to house” church again.  God is not opposed to “assembly”,  but He is opposed to wrong assembly.  He is opposed to fleecing the flock and double standards.  The leaven of the lust for so many things is pervasive and the lines have become unclear – in the Church.  We are due for this correction!

When I just felt like I didn’t want to give and that I could decide best for myself, I really felt bad about it.  I thought I was a “bad person” for feeling like that and it was a struggle to submit to the teaching I knew.  But I just did not feel that I could trust the precious thing in my soul to others.  I know a lot of people feel that way and I know that it is more than just a bad economy that has people not giving.

If you give nothing, you stop the Kingdom of God.  You give the devil room to advance.  Think about WHY you give and WHAT you give to.  God honors FAITH.  Faith means you BELIEVE in Him.  I knew I could not lose that, but I was feeling like I “wanted” to.  I was mature enough to catch on to it.

God wants the heart-connect.  He doesn’t want our faith in other people or preachers or programs, He wants OUR faith in us IN Him!  Then that will manifest in true life expression.  THAT is what He wants.

So if you believe in HIM, then give to HIM in the ways you believe in.  When you sow, you connect to it.  There needs to be a drive behind your finances and incomes.  Dueteronomy 8:18 says, “God gives US the power to create wealth to establish His Covenant.”   We need to get a clear understanding of that.  It’s not “Let’s make a deal with God!”  God is not dealing like that, even if we get a right principle here and there and seem affirmed.

The power is in you to win with God.  Your  ~VISION~   MUST CONNECT with your giving!  The Covenant He has is WITH YOU!!!

If you just haphazardly throw money in certain directions, it is going to come haphazardly back to you and it may be intercepted.  If the devil has his way, then it will be.  There is going to be warfare, but that’s okay.

You just have to press through until you make it a stronghold.  It so can happen!  Then when we get our personal stronghold and then get collective with that, we have a power source and a power force to overcome the kingdom of darkness.  Every connected part is significant.

Get the right SPIRIT.  God is the Father of our spirits.  He is not training our personna’s first, He is training our spirits and He will correct us!  We walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh.  He says we are to love Him: heart, mind, soul and strength.  There is a lot to that but notice that the heart comes first and that this is the first Commandment.

When we say something do we really mean it?  Jesus said we will not be heard by Him with our rote words.  He is looking into our hearts.  I love what I heard musician Misty Edwards share recently about the “the sacred space” that we all have.  It is a place that God has designed for Him alone.  No one else can share it.  He made it that way.  And it’s inside every single person, not just a few.  Just close your eyes and you can see what might be cluttering it but you know the space is without question His.  He can make this known!  It’s the place of our prayers and it’s the place where He will even talk back to us, if we prepare the place for that.

Now take that “sacred space” and connect with God.  Join Him.  Don’t support Him, He does not need supporting.  JOIN Him in the work HE is doing and support that.  GIVE to push back the forces of darkness and to advance the Kingdom of Light.  It causes you to find your place in Him and when you do, you will find joy in that, and the joy is also your strength (Selah!).

You are to grow and mature in Him, so you are not stuck in one place.  You just are where you are at the moment and what you do can make that change for the better and greater!  So give with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and then He will SHOW YOU THE GLORY!

Praise the Lord.

Exodus 33:

17  So the LORD said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.”
18  And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”
19  Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
