Are You About Your Father’s Business?

ARE YOU ABOUT YOUR FATHER’S BUSINESS?
by Pam Clark (pamclark@prophetic.net)

Are you aware of the ebbs and flows in the Spiritual battle? They are definitely there. There has been a recent wave of a negative flow and many in the ministry have picked up on their awareness of it and even written about it. When they happen, you know you have to ride it out to some degree.

We learn that we have to do what Moses did when the Egyptians were coming after Israel to put them again under bondage: “Stand still and see the salvation of God!” Now there are two ways of standing still, in the Lord or in a place of shock and fear. Which do you think is better?

The warfare is very real and it does affect the whole globe, but the reality is that Jesus is taking the planet for the Kingdom of God. We just have to learn how to fight, with His rules, in His Army. “I’m just a little sinner for Jesus” won’t get you there.

There is way too much compromise in the Body of Christ and some of that is the result of false teaching. Jesus warned us about last days trouble, but He never expected us to cave in. Some really will give their lives unto the death, and some will die in the Lord, but there is the promise of the resurrection. But being in the Lord is more than going to a voter booth to make a decision. It starts off that way, but much more is required.

Many become afraid of the battle and so they go into a place of denial, often entertaining themselves with the world. But the ways of the world are getting more and more unGodly and will carry an evil price tag attached to it. If you faith has no meaning, do you really think there are benefits to it? Do you think you will get a reward?

Just because you are sitting in a church somewhere does not mean that you are being active or even in the Kingdom of God. You have to have an interactive relationship with Jesus. That involves two personalities, yours and His! His sheep hear His Voice, He says as the Good Shepherd. That means there is conversation and leadership.

If your leaders take you the wrong way, you don’t have to go there. We have had these militaristic type teachings that have gone to extremes of “obeying those in charge of you.” God set up an order for His people but His intentions are good and you should be able to discern that from reading your Bible. God never condones sin. And He is not trying to set you up in a religious order that puts them in higher place of rule in your life in the place of Him.

The Body is really starting to get a revelation of this and it is to our benefit. But we have to learn the Spirit to follow the Spirit. It will teach you to honor those in authority. And it’s not that hard, there is just a warfare over its teaching. The enemy doesn’t want you to know but many have paid a price for you to learn.

America is a great nation that many people admire, including its own citizens. But if the foundations are destroyed, another rule comes in and America is not America anymore. When people give the credit to another place, they will be surprised if not angry that “it doesn’t work that way anymore” and so their anger will rule often over the order. The foundations have then changed.

We need to find God’s defense in our lives and there is a battle to get there, but once the prize is won, we have to maintain it and also teach it to others, because the kingdoms of this world will become and are becoming the Kingdom of the Lord and of His Christ! But if we see evil ruling and reigning, do we bail out or do we seek God’s ways?

Everyone loves comfort and even some luxuries, but that is not the goal of a great Christian life, but a byproduct. Some people preach Jesus like that is the goal, but the reality is that Jesus will teach us how to navigate. Some days are good and some days are difficult but do we have His navigation in our lives or do we succomb and become overtaken, or do we find the path to His victories? We all have rough days.

If luxuries are the goal, we will become corrupt. The focus will turn to the flesh and the flesh is never satisfied. There is a character development going on in all our challenges, but if we don’t have the right understanding, our “vision” can take us somewhere else where we might get disappointed, even severely.

Remember the parable that Jesus taught of the king who made a great feast for his son and people didn’t want to attend because they had other things to do? His servants went out to the highways and byways to invite the more humble people in so the house might be full for the celebration, but even then, some did not want to do it right and had on another garment instead of the wedding garment (honor) and were thus thrown out.

This was a parable for these last days. The world is becoming more and more globally integrated, and that will not decrease but increase. There is no way to put a stop button on it. You can personally hide from it and you may have an assignment to be out of it, but you will still be affected by it, there is no escape from it. These are the last days and you have to learn to navigate them!

There is “a bent” or direction that we all have inside that makes us the unique person we are. Some people want to be different just to be different, but what they really want is attention and that can be good or bad. But God put eternity in our hearts and in that is a way to fulfill His best will for our lives and the whole Body of Christ. He has put interests and talents and spiritual gifts and we have to learn to direct them for the Kingdom of God. But we can’t do that if we don’t even know what the Kingdom of God is!

We may need attention for a little while but we need to learn to get on track for our Kingdom work. Are we about our Father’s business? It is His good pleasure to give us the Kingdom, but it does not come without relationship with Him. And to have that we have to come to know Him and the power of His might, and it really is quite fascinating!

Our ideas are not necessarily His ideas, and even though the world revolves around Him instead of us, we really can find a quality fulfillment. Things become clean and full of growth and accomplishments. Joy is there and peace too. This isn’t a wish like on a Christmas card, but a reality!

We have to remember that Christ means Anointing and the anointing is the power of God imparted to change things for the better. Jesus made the way and we get to follow His way, which is why we call Him “The Way.” He is also the Truth and the Life, as in forever life!

The enemy is resisting life and so we must learn how to overcome that. This is the hard part because he uses fear and God tells us to be strong and courageous. And we can be when we know the Truth! Then when crazy things happen, we will know what to do – or know to stand still and truly see the salvation of God in our lives.

The enemy always wants to take advantage of our teachings with false teachers. He will even try to use our believer words against us like He did with Jesus (Mark 4). He will use “turn the other cheek” to bully us into what he wants. He will say we have to be nice and comply, but even if it is sin and God does not teach that! He will say that God will do all the work and we don’t have to do anything, but all that is lies! There is an interactive relationship that brings forth the Kingdom of God. To teach otherwise denies the Bible.

God is not a terrorist but He obviously expects us to learn how to deal with them. If a vicious dog comes to your house to harm you or your animals or belongings, you don’t put a bowl of food out and try to pet him. You will get hurt! Jesus said we have to bind the strongman first. In the spirit world, some spirits will not change, we need to understand that. But we can learn what will change and work to establish His Kingdom. It takes discernment and we learn that and teach it to others by being about our Father’s business.

God’s Body Parts

GOD’S BODY PARTS
by Pam Clark (pamclark@prophetic.net)

“Redemption does not come so easily, for no one can ever pay enough to live forever and never see the grave.” Psalm 49:8 [New Living Translation]

Have you ever played games with someone who had to win, and if they didn’t win, they were extremely upset? When you see that side of their personality, it can be a spooky thing, depending on how far that passion goes!

We know there is a healthy competitive spirit that challenges us to do our best. Most parents when they play games with their small children will let their children win to give them that feeling of accomplishment. Even teaching them how to lose through your example can be an important lesson for good mental and emotional health.

But a parent who would intimidate their child and overwhelm them in an unfair competition does a great disservice not only to that child but to all society. They breed bullies who defy the riches of our world. We need to understand what is the most important thing in life.

Death is cruel many times. In the hands of the enemy it is a weapon against us. I love these words of Jesus where He says, “The thief’s (or the enemy’s) purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.” [John 10:10 NLT]

Death in the hands of the Lord is a transition to a better place if that person is open to the Lord. Most innocent children are, but there is what is called “the age of accountability” – which can be different for different ones – where they are measured with the measures of life. And a lot of that measure is hearing internally the movings, if not the words, of the Holy Spirit inside of them.

The Lord wants to take those movings into words, and those words into a lifestyle, and that lifestyle into a relationship that is like a marriage with Him forever. But most people know even the best of marriages have their tribulations because the people have individual minds and wills. When they learn how to blend them, it can become joyful, but it requires some efforts.

While the power of the enemy is there to destroy things, the power of God is there to make things work and grow. But if we don’t tap into the power of God, we can miss the better portions.

If we become so fascinated with the changes of evil and destruction, we can miss the greater glories of the good. When evil is “exciting” and good is mediocre, many will gravitate towards the stimulation. But it’s better to be true than false, and there is no reason why we have to settle for anything less than the great and extraordinary. We just have to press into it.

I had a vision this morning of the Body of Christ like a car going down the road and it got a flat tire. The people got out, changed the tire and kept on going, but they failed to fix the spare tire. Later another flat was to occur, and they were stuck there, and had to not only live at that place but defend themselves as well. It was not the most ideal set of circumstances.

This society in many ways tends to have this all or nothing mentality. We find our “stars” or “leaders” and we decide competitively that this is the way to go. Then sometimes when they do let us down, we can be notorious for just dumping these people on the side of the road like discarded trash. But while they are players, we use them as weapons against what we perceive to be our enemy of rejection. Because everyone wants to be “cool” you know, and so whatever is “cool” at the current time is what we need and we will trash the rest. You know what I am talking about.

While it is fun to glory in the new, at the root of some of this is the spirit of rejection and if we do not reject rejection and its associated demons of death, we will fall for a deception that eventually hurts us, because the redemption of our souls is costly and precious, and we really do want to live forever. But for that to happen we really do have to pass the judgment test of God of relationship. And try as we might to avoid facing that issue, most of us do not get out of this world alive.

There is something in the human soul that knows how to place a value on things and people. Most children begin life by falling in love with their parents and caregivers. Most babies start off quite happy and they are so endearing to us, but babies grow up and they are required to take on responsibilities, even with of all their different personalities and ultimate skills or talents that become revealed.

The Body of Christ, or the Church, is going through a lot of transition right now. This is the day where not only is knowledge and travel greatly increased (Daniel 12:4), but the population globally is growing exponentially as well. There will be an anti-Christ (or anti-power of Life) spirit that tries to control it all, but those oppressions will fail by the power of the Living God. But we must learn to connect to that Spirit of Life and Power and learn how to overcome.

We are living in the conflict of these forces today and these exponential growths in society are things our individual lives will have to deal with. We must be on a quest for truth and it is good to pray for “the spirit of truth” in our lives. The Spirit of Truth will reveal to us the things that make for Life. Many of us have this temptation to have the “all or nothing” view that something or someone is absolute when truthfully, they may not be. They change, they fail, they die.

Jesus is an anchor because He is a God-Man who rose from the dead after a cruel brutal death and revealed Himself. He said He was God’s Son and has proved it in many ways. If you don’t know Him, you can ask Him to reveal Himself to you and come into your life. A process will begin that will do just that, because He is real. God is a Spirit, Jesus said, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

When we have been taught the basics of life and it works for a good season, sometimes we think the next thing we encounter will be good as well, but it doesn’t always work out like that. This earthly life can have some negative encounters, sad to say. We must learn to separate the precious from the vile, or the good from the evil. And it is something we can learn to do, especially with the help of the Scriptures – the Holy Bible. The Bible is nice because the print doesn’t change on the page like our views and opinions will.

We are that car going down the road as a people. And sometimes we can get a flat tire. That tire may be ours or it may be someone else’s but as a Body we still need it. We may do fine for a while without repairing the tire, but we must believe in ourselves and others enough to realize all our parts are not just wanted but really are needed. We can’t just take things for granted.

Revolutions are occuring all around the world today. Like the churning oceans are the peoples of the nations, seeking their expressions, and they don’t always know how to do it, but something inside is telling them that there is more and they are seeking it. And they don’t always play by the rules we think they should! Wars and rumors of wars are constantly in the news. It is a time to be aware and finely tuned. The chances are good that we can encounter some things we did not expect.

Finding a stocked bunker to hide in until the mayhem is over is not truly functional. It may be a temptation, but being blissfully unaware for a season is not going to deal with or overcome the problems this coming society is going to face. Because not only are you going to have to deal with whatever man comes up with, but also God. He has expectations from you!

As we travel and travail down this highway of life, we are going to need our supplies and our tools, and in the journey of life, that comes through people. There are forces that may be out of our control but they are not out of God’s control, and as we learn to connect with Him, we can get a handle on what we need and our instructions on how to do it. God’s people will have a good will for man in mind, and they will not compromise. The Body of Christ is a real living organism.

The Spirit of God is a Life-giving Source and He does have a Plan. We need His Life and Godliness for this Great Marriage of Eternal Life. Tokens are good, but function is better. Don’t be afraid to engage in a good life through Him. You will not be disappointed. Strife and destruction in the Body is self defeating. You don’t want to be stranded needing a part.

The 9-9-11 Dream

I just had a dream that I think pertains to the “big picture” so to speak.  I don’t feel alarm from this dream, more that it was the Lord showing me what was going on.

I was in a familiar old small town I used to live in – the kind where everyone knows everyone almost – and there was this long time community cafe downtown where all the local business folk would go, just like in a typical town, with the big glass windows.  The downstairs was the cafe and there were 2 stories on top of that.

I was with someone whom I feel represented the Holy Spirit as a friend, and as I walked by this old cafe building with some business offices on one side of it, I saw that the building was getting ready for demolition.  There was was a hill behind it and I asked if they were going to remove that too and they said “yes, to make it a level playing field.”

I looked at the building and saw that it was very dark brown, and made of wood and stones mixed together with mortar, and it was wearing out (the wood was rotting) and getting old and needed to be replaced.  I also saw that the top story of the building had been cut all the way around and it was turned a little bit, like it was about to be removed.  (I felt in the interpretation the Lord saying He was starting at the top of man’s structure.)

There was this big crane with a wrecking ball and it was getting positioned to come whack the building but as it lowered the ball, it hit this black lady walking down the street.  My Holy Spirit friend and I rushed over to her but she was going to be okay and we got her into a wheelchair to take her home.  (I felt like she was part of the new thing, representing something different, since so many of us here are white with the “white” mindset.  It’s just our demographics.  When I lived in Houston, we were very mixed.)

I fussed at the people in the office for not being more careful and I feel like now that this is the Lord telling me that revival will not be without incidents.  We took the lady on to her home nearby on 17th Street, which was by a university and their offices, and in the lobby of her apartment building, people brought out clothes for me, my Holy Spirit friend, and to the black lady as gifts, and we were told it was because they loved her.  My understanding is that 17 stands for Victory.  I feel the nearby school implies needed institution instructions (foundational teaching).

I feel this dream is telling me that change is coming and the old man-made (social) structures will be taken down and a new structure is coming with a level playing field.  The new and different to many of us will seem to get injured but really will be okay.  God will clothe us and we will be okay, even if we are restless and unsure.  He is starting at the top but those who rest in the Lord will be a part of the new thing.  (Part of the clothing I received was a new red and white pajama gown, which could symbolize rest.)

I feel the Church Body is only as good as the people in it.  We need to hear the Lord for what the people really need, be it instruction, clothing, and activities, helps, etc.  We need to use caution and wisdom, and not give up when we miss it.

God is not disappointed but He will do what He has to do for our best good.

I always want us to remember Israel because I feel that those who bless her will prosper in the Lord, Spiritually and in the physical realm.  I feel that if we bless her Land, our land will be blessed, and that we need to do practical things as the Lord leads us for that Land to prosper.

I feel that as a Church if we don’t, we only delay our blessings.  That is why I believe that a tithe of our tithe should go to Her.  I think it will preserve us in the difficult and challenging times and that it speaks to God prophetically that we believe Him and His Word is true.  For God, I feel this is affection to Him.

The cafe in the dream is the church community and the “offices” (office gifts) are on the side of it (paraclete).  It’s the place of “the mindset” that affects the whole community.  Leaders have to see what is going on with the people and help them Spiritually and practically, because the Church is only as good as its people in it.

And even now as I ponder this, I wonder if this represents our national government, with the two branches as “covering over us” (the top two stories) and the “hill” behind.

I hope there is something in this that blesses and ministers.

In His Shalom Peace,Blessings and Love,

Pam

Right after this dream, a friend of mine (who happens to be a black lady) sent me this article which I have posted here:  http://www.prophetic.net/Isaiah911.pdf and then another friend sent me a link to a Sid Roth show that is also covering the same thing!

The Fruity Tree

I am grateful for my upbringing, no telling where I would be without it, probably nowhere very good, if still here.

My parents were nominal Christians, they took me to our mainline denominational church, got me into activities, and those activities were my Spiritual training.

God has His Hand on my life, (Thank God!), and I did have a few encounters but I would have been clueless without my Christian training that pointed me to the Word of God.

I learned the basics, about Jesus and His life, the Ten Commandments, tolerance and respect for other people and their views, and the Bible verse that “God is Love.”  One day that verse would literally save my life when I was younger and condemned harshly (to die) by a preacher who did not share my views!

Had it not been for the love I was shown, I probably would have rejected church altogether after that!

Then in 1976 I found out about and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  It DRAMATICALLY changed my life.  A well spring opened up inside of me and my zeal had no bounds!  I was ready to defy every devil, save every soul, and raise the dead anywhere I might encounter that, even deal with institutions and government if need be.

Well, it doesn’t take that long to figure out that there are some personal limitations on your strength, but I was still greatly impressed by the Life that had been made available to me.  I was right in the middle of the charismatic wave and God was near and I did encounter His incredible Presence and saw a number of impressive miracles and ministry.

It was a whole new world.  At one point, I gave away everything I had with my zeal to be like the early disciples and live by faith.  Well, that faith landed me back at home with my parents who were the nominal Christians with a daughter “on steroids” so to speak. They didn’t know what to do with me, even though God was using that to speak to them.

The only peace that came to the wild household  is when I went to church with my mom who had quit going.  My dad was content to watch it on tv.  (He later got wonderfully saved, but that is another story.)

I was going to every exciting meeting I could get to, and needless to say, my young faith was being tested on a number of levels.  I look back and laugh at all that now, but it was a serious development stage in my faith walk.  Thank God for patient loving parents!

One Sunday morning at our downtown Methodist Church, trying to suck in every bit of life I could get from those services, I was silently telling God how “dead” it was.  Now I had learned a lot of incredible truths that really did hold my life together.  But at this stage, all that seemed BORING!!!

As I sat there, explaining that to God, I was telling Him how this church, that had held strong for over a hundred years, was so lacking.  I envisioned this incredibly big tree with large extending branches and told him how great the fruit was on it.  To me, where I was, was just a tree with no fruit!  Not like the fruit I saw!

He just played me along and said, “Really?”  Now this conversation is all silent, but very real.  I said, “Yes!!!  These people are missing it!  They are missing the gifts of the Spirit, these wonderful works, this great excitement, they aren’t studying about the fruits and gifts and seeing miracles!”  He replied, “That fruit is really grand, is it?”

I replied, “Oh yes!” and just went on and on with Him.  And so quietly He said, “What if I cut down the trunk of that tree?  What happens to all those full branches and that fruit?”

I was stunned.  I knew this was God I was talking to and He could do anything He wanted.  I had no choice but to reply, “Then all the fruit is gone!”  He had made His point with me.  I was not honoring my roots.

All this inner disdain I had (and probably some outwardly) suddenly withered.  I realized He was taking me back to the basics, and those basics are not only good but necessary.  If the storms came, where was my foundation?  It needed to be on His!

I realized there was a progression of truth.  And even if some limbs get pruned, you really do still want the trunk of the tree an its root system.  It makes for life!

I laugh at this experience but not at what I learned from it.  A loving God taught me His ways.  My zeal was precious but it needed to be grounded.  The fruit was not greater than the tree it came from.  My folks were pretty simple folks when it came to Spiritual things, but they were honest and ethical and lived pretty well and content.

I realized that I needed to be a bridge and not a bomb.  It just worked better.

While looking for a picture to go along with this of a big tree similar to what I saw in my vision then, I came across this one called “The Salad Tree.”  It’s an artist’s mock up but it seems to fit so well.  We need it ALL.  And we need to have good sense and be planted on the sure foundation.

There are requirements for full life and if we ignore that, we will miss what God wants to do through us and in us.

God bless you~

GOD says Call For The Women!

Understand the atmosphere of the context of this…   See the conditions that were going on in Israel that God and the prophet Jeremiah were dealing with.  The prophet was interceding passionately in a backslidden era. He was seeking the heart of God to find remedy…

Jeremiah 9:

15 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I will feed them, this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

16 “I will scatter them also among the Gentiles [nations], whom neither they nor their fathers have known. And I will send a sword after them until I have consumed them.”

17 Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider and call for the mourning women, That they may come; And send for skillful wailing women, That they may come.

18 Let them make haste And take up a wailing for us, That our eyes may run with tears, And our eyelids gush with water.

19 For a voice of wailing is heard from Zion: ‘How we are plundered! We are greatly ashamed, Because we have forsaken the land, Because we have been cast out of our dwellings.'”

20 Yet hear the word of the Lord, O women, And let your ear receive the word of His mouth; Teach your daughters wailing, And everyone her neighbor a lamentation.

21 For death has come through our windows, Has entered our palaces, To kill off the children; no longer to be outside! And the young men; no longer on the streets!

22 Speak, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Even the carcasses of men shall fall as refuse on the open field, Like cuttings after the harvester, And no one shall gather them.'”

23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;

24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

25 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised;

26 “Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.”

God was responding to a man who was crying to Him over the conditions of the land. War was going on, the land was plundered. Hearts had turned away from the Lord.

Children were dying and the nation’s strength of the young men was dissipating. He was standing “between the porch and the altar” (the place of intercession in God’s courts) crying out.

God was angry because people had turned away from Him, so judgment was coming now for the believer and unbeliever alike. But God has mercy and God has answers because God has a Plan. And God will speak.

With all that deterioration and hopelessness, the prophet cried out in tears. And what did God answer?

Call for the women. If you read the whole passage there, the women were also under attacks and suffering. It was not like they were the stronger of the two at that point.

This was God’s answer and this was part of God’s Plan. Call for the women and give respect to the women. Was there another option? Not here, there wasn’t.

Women are not better than men, nor are men better than women. This was not God’s statement of “Women rule.” In fact we know that God names men as the head of their families. But I believe there comes a time when God thinks we have missed it and when we ask Him for help, He will respond with what HE wants.

The Lord has always wanted balance and respect for all His people. He never denied anyone from any nation who wanted to join the Company of believers if they were really believers. Women don’t have any special graces or charms that touch God more than men do. God wants respect for His grand Creation, in the manner and order that He designed it.

I think it is very interesting at this time in America that the news is full of the story about our country’s loans defaulting having the potential to dramatically the wreck the country even more, and the LDS trial of Warren Jeff facing child/girl/women abuse charges. I think there is something to it. (I have preached this Jeremian 9 message years before, so this did not just come to me.)

God wants honor for the men as well as the women. He wants them to have their respect. This is not about ego, but dignity. But I am making a point beyond that, too. When you look at the Church, the Body of Christ believers, who are crying out long and hard for revival and revolution in our lives, you will start to notice something – the women pray-ers.

The women intercessors are rising up. They are gaining a Godly recognition for their roles in seeking God. This is a sign that revival is coming! God has a fashion and order in the way He does things. We are not self designers in this call on our lives to live before Him and then receive His blessings. There is an order and a plan! And our fullfillments will be found in that.

As God is preparing us for a Visitation, you will find more and more anointing on the prayer groups of the women interceding. They will not be just women only, because God is no respector of persons. Men who are sensitive are not despised by God. He is not blessing hanky-panky (wrong actions) by either gender, but He will address the issues of what means something to Him and the way He wants to see things done.

We have much today going on in the way of social engineering, attempting to reorder the ways of God and it is just not going to work. He can shut it down. He has done it before and He can do it again – dramatically. He will let things go way beyond what most decent people think He will. But that does not mean He is not going to act. His ways are higher and grander than our ways are.

When He talks about us entering into His Life and Blessings, and what it takes, He is sincere. The reality that He is even willing to communicate with us on any level is mind blowing. But He knows what He is looking for. And He gave Scriptures to assist us.

Christians who have been around prayers know that they can change things. Prayers have the potential to do amazing things, but they are not “our” design tools. We are not the Designers. We are co-laborers with a great work in redeeming the earth.

God knows what He wants and He wants both men and women and children respected in the right spirit. We do need to search that out and we do need to follow His order, not in legalisms but in honoring the Life that He has designed.

Look for those weeping, wailing women intercessors and join them and bless them. According to God’s Word, it is going to make the difference.

Show Me The Glory

The other day when I was contending for some things in my own life, I heard myself say, much like in the movie Jerry McGuire’s client did, “SHOW ME THE GLORY!”

In the movie Jerry McGuire was an agent and his client was a struggling football player who was not going to take less than a lot.  Really, I thought I was going to say it like the movie does, “Show me the money!”, but instead what came out was, “Show me the Glory!”   I knew that was a “God message thing.”  Smile….

God is going to deal with the hearts of His Beloved People on money this year.  We have seen a lot of excesses and we have seen a lot done wrong and some are just working to “make it work.”  But we need to learn it and do it God’s way.  He has a Plan and He is well able;  we just need to learn how He wants it done.

I have a word for all my good minister friends and for all those who love God enough to give towards His Work.  Don’t take up offerings to “pay expenses.”  It sounds like YOU are supporting God!  We have come into a place of presumption that we have not even realized needs to be corrected.

Instead, take up offerings to push back the kingdom of darkness and bring forth the Light.  Put yourself in agreement with HIM!  Not with men and their works.  When you sow your faith like that, you please God.   Get your excitement up in the real thing!  Then the expenses will be met.  Then EVERYONE will feel and share in the investment into the Kingdom of GOD!  Not only that, a divine power comes upon that giving that makes it holy and anointed and God will deal with those who touch it.

True ministers need to learn how to channel this Godly energy. (Selah!)  This means it will require a lot of prayer and humility.  You learn it from God and not from business school, although there are good helps in business school.  The two should join righteously.  But the ministry of the anointing is different.  This will bring forth the “Divine Push” that WE Christians really need.

God is fine, and will be fine and has been fine. He is not in crisis.  We are the ones who need the Life connect.  Join to gain it!  This is a very serious concept.  Remember Uzzah who tried to “help” God?  He died.  But when we get in proper order and protocol, and everyone in their place of effectiveness and service (with grace and hopes for more!), we get it right and move forward into the Blessing.

When you give, give to what you WANT to SEE, what you KNOW and discern is real Kingdom.   Many have lost heart because of what they have not wanted to see, so they quit giving because it seemed so in vain!  The “promises” and the “giving and sowing” seemed so far apart and growing farther still!  The Church felt and seemed less and less potent, but those who know the God of the past just knew He had not changed.

Even I had to be corrected on this.  I just got sad and unhappy with a lot of things.  It seemed so de-personalized from me and I felt I was worshipping men and programs in the name of God.  It didn’t “feel” right!

But God is asking, “Will you join ME in seeing the Kingdom come?”   I mean, I had been praying “Thy Kingdom come.”  He asked me what kind of world/kingdom did I want to SEE.  And He said “Give to THAT.”

I felt so strongly that many of the churches and movements were missing it in critical ways because of the world’s mocking and the feeling of indifference to so many real needs.  So many were falling away.  I had even prophesied that God was tearing down this old church order because it was just not working like it should.

But we ARE commanded to assemble ourselves together and for many it was becoming the “house to house” church again.  God is not opposed to “assembly”,  but He is opposed to wrong assembly.  He is opposed to fleecing the flock and double standards.  The leaven of the lust for so many things is pervasive and the lines have become unclear – in the Church.  We are due for this correction!

When I just felt like I didn’t want to give and that I could decide best for myself, I really felt bad about it.  I thought I was a “bad person” for feeling like that and it was a struggle to submit to the teaching I knew.  But I just did not feel that I could trust the precious thing in my soul to others.  I know a lot of people feel that way and I know that it is more than just a bad economy that has people not giving.

If you give nothing, you stop the Kingdom of God.  You give the devil room to advance.  Think about WHY you give and WHAT you give to.  God honors FAITH.  Faith means you BELIEVE in Him.  I knew I could not lose that, but I was feeling like I “wanted” to.  I was mature enough to catch on to it.

God wants the heart-connect.  He doesn’t want our faith in other people or preachers or programs, He wants OUR faith in us IN Him!  Then that will manifest in true life expression.  THAT is what He wants.

So if you believe in HIM, then give to HIM in the ways you believe in.  When you sow, you connect to it.  There needs to be a drive behind your finances and incomes.  Dueteronomy 8:18 says, “God gives US the power to create wealth to establish His Covenant.”   We need to get a clear understanding of that.  It’s not “Let’s make a deal with God!”  God is not dealing like that, even if we get a right principle here and there and seem affirmed.

The power is in you to win with God.  Your  ~VISION~   MUST CONNECT with your giving!  The Covenant He has is WITH YOU!!!

If you just haphazardly throw money in certain directions, it is going to come haphazardly back to you and it may be intercepted.  If the devil has his way, then it will be.  There is going to be warfare, but that’s okay.

You just have to press through until you make it a stronghold.  It so can happen!  Then when we get our personal stronghold and then get collective with that, we have a power source and a power force to overcome the kingdom of darkness.  Every connected part is significant.

Get the right SPIRIT.  God is the Father of our spirits.  He is not training our personna’s first, He is training our spirits and He will correct us!  We walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh.  He says we are to love Him: heart, mind, soul and strength.  There is a lot to that but notice that the heart comes first and that this is the first Commandment.

When we say something do we really mean it?  Jesus said we will not be heard by Him with our rote words.  He is looking into our hearts.  I love what I heard musician Misty Edwards share recently about the “the sacred space” that we all have.  It is a place that God has designed for Him alone.  No one else can share it.  He made it that way.  And it’s inside every single person, not just a few.  Just close your eyes and you can see what might be cluttering it but you know the space is without question His.  He can make this known!  It’s the place of our prayers and it’s the place where He will even talk back to us, if we prepare the place for that.

Now take that “sacred space” and connect with God.  Join Him.  Don’t support Him, He does not need supporting.  JOIN Him in the work HE is doing and support that.  GIVE to push back the forces of darkness and to advance the Kingdom of Light.  It causes you to find your place in Him and when you do, you will find joy in that, and the joy is also your strength (Selah!).

You are to grow and mature in Him, so you are not stuck in one place.  You just are where you are at the moment and what you do can make that change for the better and greater!  So give with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and then He will SHOW YOU THE GLORY!

Praise the Lord.

Exodus 33:

17  So the LORD said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.”
18  And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”
19  Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

A Prophetic Word for America – 12/7/10

This morning I had such a burden for America.  Of course it is the same burden I have been carrying but it seemed to intensify.

As I began to try to share it, people said, “Oh yes, we have heard that, we are in a shaking and a shaking is coming,” and even I have prophetically said that, but this had a different feel to it.  We have been praying back judgment and asking for mercy instead for a long time.  And God has honored those prayers.

But today I felt that a more sure word was coming forth, and to be honest, much of this I did not want to hear so I was resisting it.  But I felt the Lord was saying that there are many in a presumptive grace that He was going to deal with.  Many would even be dying.  Not a few, but many.

Even as I was sharing some of this that I was sensing earlier, someone wrote me and asked me what specifically was God showing me.  I replied that the burden I was carrying was for the hearts of the leaders because they are the ones that weep between the porch and the altar (Joel 2).  They are the ones that God goes through to execute His justice and His judgments.

Many today are not in a place to intercede before God.  In a time of crisis, they would have to work on themselves quite a bit before they could go before God for the people.  They would have to come in the right protocols before Him (with humility and contriteness being a major part of that), they would have to bring the right offering before Him and then when that was right, He would hear their prayers.

We don’t just lollygag and sashay ourselves into His Temple, saying “Pop, I need you to do this for me.”  That is presumption!  There is a such a thing as favor with God but there is also the respectful fear of the Lord!  He is a mighty King and He can act like it and will, just to remind us.  We really do not want to be on His wrath side.  It is a fearful thing to fall iinto the hands of the Living God.  We can have a friendship that is not a presumption.

Some people’s tribulations are because it is sometimes not as much what they did wrong as what other people have done wrong, and they have fallen victim to that.  There is an order of God that is not just a 1,2,3 list,  but is a multi-dimensional order of life that has vibrant effects.

When you let children play with knives or guns, tragic things may take place.  A child without training and a learner’s permit can be a disaster behind the wheel of a car, not only to himself but to innocent others also.   When we are frivolous in the Courts of God with His Words and with His imparted Spirit to us, we can get on dangerous ground.  When there is no fear of the Lord, only judgments can follow.

Do you realize that angels are messengers of His Word and ministry and when those things are  abused, those angels have a right to report to God?  I don’t say that to make you afraid but to impart to you the importance of the respect for the things and Household of God.

God is more long suffering than any man but when He makes a determination, the point He chooses to make can be quite dramatic!  It could be something that we will respect for a long time to come!  Remember when Uzzah tried to “help God out”  in carrying the Ark?  He got zapped to death and King David was greatly upset over that.  But God was demonstrating protocols – the right and wrongs of them.  Later when the blessing was seen at Obed Edom’s, David realized that he had to get over his offense and ignorance and cooperate with the program of the Lord.

I saw God’s judgments coming and many weeping, shaken.  And God was saying that “I Am going to get My House in order, because it is very out of order.”   And while I was weeping at the judgments, I was also relieved with the correction.  Some have been broken and discouraged over the disarray of His Church and Body, and many have lost heart.  There are many ministers who used to be in ministry who have dropped out, but the gift and the calling is still there for it is given without repentance on God’s part – we just need to come into order.

He gave me a vision of a family getting ready for dinner and the parents placing the portions on the table.  There were certain portions of potatoes, and vegetables, and meat, and gravy, and bread.  The Lord said “My true ministers know how to give proper portions to the family.  All the portions are important but the right variety and the right amount is very important for good health and proper nutrition.  The proper nutrients are needed for good health and right thinking.

We have been living too much on “dessert” and we have neglected if not rejected the other proper needed portions in the House of God in good balance.  Children only raised on dessert become sickly in their bodies, and they become skewed in their thinking.  It can cause the immune system to not function as it needs to for protecting the body.  When we minister to poverty, we give them portions that are good for them so their health will return and they can think through things for themselves and not just depend upon others for provision.

The Lord said the shaking that is to come is to realign the Church back to proper order.  Because we have prayed for it, it will come.  If we had not, we would just suffer the results.  I saw a thick layer of unhealthy fat coming off.  It was the result of all the “dessert” given to people promising them “the good life.”  In that “good life” there was no responsibility imposed, instead it was a licentious spirit of lustful self will.  That of course would result in the Body turning on each other.

It is time for the spirits of competition and greed and lust and vying for power to be exorcized out of the Church.  I also got a vision of the Church in its different smaller groups of members and there was the “elite” class.  When hungry and hurting people would come in, they would be told to “Go over there, your portion is over there.”  They were not included in the main group but made to feel set apart as those who did not “measure up.”

He also showed me weaker people like the elderly and homeless and abused and victimized people coming in looking for hope and their place in the Church but not being able to find it.  If they were lucky, they got a “designated” ministry “help” but if not, then they found more help and love outside of the Church, even though their hearts were aching to know Jesus andto  be assimilated into His true Body.  So they quit going and suffered alone in their silence.  The Lord said they were only seeking their place and He has one for them, where His Spirit can truly manifest in their portion.

The Lord said He was going to deal with that because people were after “the good life” and did not realize how much the world had infiltrated them as a deadly leaven.  He said He was going to judge it and it would be painful, but that it would be a mercy to those who really did want Him.

Then the Lord showed me Israel and the importance of our unity with them.  We are the two sticks to be joined as one!  Many nations look to America in respect and gratitude for what we have done for them over the years.  The Lord said that He took great pleasure in Abraham and He wanted that same pleasure from his seed today.  He said that America and Israel were to be cooperative spirits, having the same goals and visions – visions that He gave them!

We are not to worship the leaders but we are to pray for them and ask God to give them His Vision and goals and then cooperate with them in that.  Every person would have a part to play and a gift to bring – a gift that He had given them to bring and express.  The Vision that God gives is big – do not discard it or take it lightly!

As the Lord gets us lean again, He is looking to see the work of the ministry take place.  He is looking for the ministry to the WHOLE body in all of its dimensions.  Life has many dimensions and they all work with one another to make a greater multi-faced effect that carries a force with it.  People will either be drawn to it or repelled by it.

Today the leeches and parasites are feeding off of the Body and it needs its immune system to repel the wasters.  There are warriors and there are tender nurturers and they all are important and must work together.  There are the laborers and the artists and all must rest and work and contribute in healthful ways.  They all must RESPECT each other and the gifts God has brought to the table and they must be in their right proper portion.  When we fail to respect one another and the gifts God brings, even though we partake of it, we disrespect God.

It’s easy to take things for granted, but an awakening is coming.  There is a remnant that is crying out and God has heard their cries.  They must not lose heart, they must get back in their place, they must work and be about their Father’s business.  It is a mandate.

We have seen many revivals but not all of the revivals have been built on the right foundation so some of it has gone off center and then toppled or played out.  The Lord says if we will build on the right foundation, then He will bring His Glory in and we can dwell in it.  We will be able to come in and out of His House and reach the lost and bring them in, if they are so willing.  We will be fulfilled in our callings and the world can be won for Him.  He is the King.  It is His Kingdom.

It’s a good thing.  It’s a good message, it is Good News!  It is the Word and Life of the Lord.
